Commissioner's Decorations are the highest level of recognition within the AFP Internal Awards Framework.

Commissioner's Medal for Excellence

Recognises excellence by individuals or an identified group in pursuit of the AFP's core business outcomes and encompassing corporate values to the highest level.

Commissioner's Medal for Innovation

Recognises outstanding innovation by individuals or an identified group in pursuit of the AFP's core business outcomes and encompassing corporate values to the highest level.

What does the recipient receive?

• A medal engraved with the recipient's name to wear at ceremonial occasions
• A miniature of the medal to wear at mess functions and other formal dining occasions
• A ribbon bar to wear on AFP uniform
• A certificate outlining the circumstances for the recognition

How are the Commissioner's Decorations presented?

Only the AFP Commissioner can present these decorations.
