Other Jurisdictional and Foreign Awards

Members of the AFP may be the recipient of a variety of honours and awards outside the AFP Internal Awards and the Australian Honours System.

In relation to foreign awards, permission for formal acceptance and wearing of foreign awards is given by the Governor-General on the recommendation of the Prime Minister or the Minister with portfolio responsibility for the Australian Honours System.

The following awards have been approved for wear on AFP uniform and AFP employees do not need to apply to wear them.
