Yes, you can ring the police assistance number and the operator will put you through to the relevant area.

I have noticed some suspicious activity going on at the local school/next door, do I call the police assistance line?

Yes. If you think that there may be criminal activity taking place in your neighbourhood call 131 444 to speak to police.

If I have some information regarding a crime that has already occurred in the ACT should I call the new police assistance number?

No. You should call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 to report any information that may assist police with solving a crime.
