Multimedia: Milestones in Tonga

The AFP continues to contribute towards the resourcing and capacity-building of the Tonga Police, AFP members visiting the island nation recently to track progress and celebrate the launch of two major projects.
AFP Manager Operations and Missions, Commander Grant Edwards, attended the ground-breaking ceremony for a new $TOP1million community police station on the island of Tongatapu and also observed the Tongan Police’s newly launched $TOP1million radio communications network in operation.
