On a recent trip to Timor AFP Deputy Commissioner Peter Drennan took part in the tenth anniversary of the PNTL or Policia National Timor Leste.

The day was a significant one for the people of Timor Leste with a large crowd turning out for the official proceedings which were also attended by a number of dignitaries including President Jose Ramos- Horta.

The AFP Deputy Commissioner took part in the presentation of medals to some of the many Units involved in the mornings activities.

The visit also provided the chance to tour some of the regions around the capital of Dilli including a helicopter flight to Balibo.
