Multimedia: National Police Remembrance Day 2010

Commissioner Tony Negus joined hundreds of serving and retired police officers, their families and members of the community at National Police Remembrance Day services across the ACT and Monaro.
 
A dawn service was held at the Queanbeyan Police Memorial, and a dusk service was held at the National Police Memorial in Kings Park.
 
Police and dignitaries from across the country, New Zealand, Fiji, Papua New Guinea, Samoa and the Solomon Islands paid their respects during the services.
 
A touch-stone for NSW police officer Detective Constable William Crews was illuminated for the first time during the dusk service.
