The Royal Solomon Islands Police Force, mentored by the RAMSI Participating Police Force, is introducing enthusiastic young blood to its ranks.
A class of 29 new recruits graduated on the eve of the 2010 Solomon Islands election, while another class will graduate later in the year.
It’s important progress for the RSIPF, which is regaining the confidence of its public following the 2006 Honiara riots.
With the assistance of the AFP the Royal Solomon Islands Police Force has stepped up recruitment.
