Commissioner Tony Negus has joined more than 600 police officers from around Australia on a motorcycle ride to the nation’s capital to honour fallen colleagues as part of the inaugural ‘Wall to Wall Ride for Remembrance’.

Commissioner Negus, NSW Police Force members and officers from as far as Perth assembled in Sydney before riding down the highway to Canberra.

In the early hours of Saturday 18 September, the group joined riders from other states and territories just north of Canberra before crossing the ACT border under ACT Police escort.

The riders proceeded through Canberra, their route taking them around Parliament House before heading to the National Police Memorial for a remembrance service.
