ACT Policing media release
131 444 telephone system fault

ACT Policing Operations experienced a technical fault within in the telephone management system on Friday and Saturday (22nd and 23rd February), between the hours of 9.30pm and 5.30am.
To a large extent this fault was able to be manually overridden however some calls may not have been answered in a timely fashion.
ACT Policing regret any inconvenience to callers that may have experienced these difficulties. We ask that if a matter is still of concern, please recontact us on 131 444.
This malfunction did not impact on the effective operation of the 000 emergency lines.
