Act of indecency; man arrested

ACT Policing has arrested a 47-year-old man after an act of indecency on a 35-year-old, wheelchair-bound woman in her Hughes home.
The offence is alleged to have occurred around 11pm on Saturday (July 11) whilst the man was providing care for the victim.
The offence was reported to the man’s supervisors the following morning who reported the matter to police.
Police located and arrested the alleged offender at his Calwell home on Monday (July 13).
The alleged offender received bail from the Regional Watch House at City Police Station and will face the ACT Magistrates Court today (July 18) charged with one count of an act of indecency.
