Alleged drug haul in Hackett

The Territory Investigation Group’s, Property Crime Team have arrested a 36-year-old man after a search warrant was executed on his home today (June 26).
Police executed the warrant on the Hackett address around 9.30am and utilised the Special Response and Security K9 team.
Police will allege to have detected at the premises approximately 3.5 grams of heroin, a large quantity of liquid methadone, a small amount of cannabis, and approximately $850.00 in Australian currency.
The alleged offender will face the ACT Magistrates Court tomorrow (June 27) charged with trafficking in a controlled drug, possession of a prohibited substance, possession of cannabis and unlawful possession.
