Alleged offenders in custody following assault

ACT Policing has arrested two men following an incident tonight in which a man was assaulted in a flat in Reid.
Police were called to the Allambee St address around 5.30pm today where a man was found bleeding from a head wound.
Acting on information and descriptions received, police began a search for two alleged male offenders while the victim was conveyed to The Calvary Hospital in a serious condition.
Police sighted the two alleged offenders in Elimatta St in Braddon around 6.20pm and took them into custody.
Investigations are continuing.
