Attempted robbery Lyons; witnesses sought

ACT Policing is investigating the attempted armed robbery of a Lyons newsagency earlier today (August 29).
About 2.15pm, a female has entered the Lyons Place premises with a knife and demanded money from staff. No money was handed over.
The female is described as Caucasian in appearance, approximately five foot tall (152cm), wearing a white jacket and a black scarf across her face.
Police believe the female fled in the company of a male waiting outside the shops towards Davenport Street. The male is described as Aboriginal in appearance with a solid build.
