Club house fire in Narrabundah

ACT Policing is investigating a suspicious fire at the club house for the Canberra Off-Road Model Car Club in Narrabundah about 12.40am today (June 28).
ACT Fire Brigade attended the scene and extinguished the fire which appears to have originated from a wheelie bin.
The fire caused damage to an elevated wooden deck which was used as a viewing platform for the club.
Police would urge anyone who may have seen suspicious activity in the vicinity of Goyder street in the early hours of this morning to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or via the website www.act.crimestoppers.com.au.
