Fyshwick burglary; witnesses sought

ACT Policing is investigating the burglary of a Fyshwick business premises overnight (July 9/10).

Police responded to multiple alarm activations at the Whyalla Street premises around 11.50pm and arrived shortly after to find sports bags filled with laptop computers left on the floor of the premises.

According to staff, approximately eight other laptops were taken during the burglary.

Police believe offenders have entered through the roof and descended down to the floor below.

Police would like to hear from any persons who may have witnessed suspicious activity in Whyalla Street, Fyshwick – particularly persons operating large storage vehicles – to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or via www.act.crimestoppers.com.au.
