Lyneham robbery; witnesses sought

ACT Policing is investigating the aggravated robbery of a 17-year-old victim in Lyneham about 5.40pm yesterday (June 27).

The victim was taking a short cut through the rear car park of the City Gate Hotel when he was confronted by seven males who pushed him to the ground and stole his mobile phone.

The victim was able to describe one of the males as Caucasian, aged approximately 18 - 20 years old, 6’ (183cm) tall with a solid, muscular build, brown hair about two inches tall and spiked up towards the middle. He had fine wispy facial hair and was wearing a white or light coloured hooded jumper and grey baggy pants.

The other males are described as Caucasian, around six feet tall wearing light coloured jumpers, (some with hoods,) and baggy pants.
