Man dies following Isabella Plains incident

A 24-year-old man critically wounded during an alleged self-harm incident at Isabella Plains yesterday (4 August 2008) has died.
The man, from Calwell, died at 10.25am today in The Canberra Hospital (5 August 2008). A post mortem will be conducted on Thursday (7 August 2008).
An ACT Policing investigation into the circumstances surrounding yesterday’s incident is continuing and a report will be prepared for the ACT Coroner. The investigation will also be overviewed by the Australian Federal Police’s Professional Standards Unit.
