Man summonsed to court for Civic 'glassing'

ACT Policing has summonsed a 21-year-old Higgins man to face assault charges relating to the 'glassing' of a male victim in Civic on Friday, May 9.
The alleged offender presented himself to police yesterday (May 14) after investigators made enquiries to locate him.
Police will allege the male smashed a bottle across the victim's face in Bible Lane, Civic on May 9, causing deep lacerations to the victims face and neck.
The 21-year-old will face the ACT Magistrates Court on a date yet to be fixed.
