Ram-raid in Hughes

ACT Policing is investigating an aggravated burglary at the Caltex Service Station in Hughes about 2am on Sunday (July 6).
Witnesses contacted police after they observed a white sedan reverse into the front of the service station and the shops alarm sound. The vehicle fled the scene along Wisdom Street.
Witnesses were unable to provide any further description of the vehicle or the offenders.
Police believe the offenders stole a large quantity of cigarettes during the burglary.
Police would urge anyone who may have witnessed a small white vehicle in the Hughes area in the early hours of Sunday morning, or who may know the identity of the offenders to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
