Update; bridge fire found non-suspicious
Tuesday, 01 July 2008
ACT Policing has found a fire on Tharwa Bridge, Tharwa, today (July 1) to be non-suspicious.
Police arrived at the Tharwa Bridge a little after 6am today. The ACT Fire Brigade were already on the scene. A fire approximately 3metres x 1metre in size had been extinguished in the centre on the western side of the bridge.
Forensics and fire investigators were called to the scene and found it to be the result of workers on site yesterday.
