Witnesses sought after aggravated robbery

ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to an aggravated robbery on two males which occurred around Akuna Street, Civic, on Saturday (June 21) at 3.30am.
Police were called to Akuna Street after it was reported that five males had approached the two victims demanding cash. One victim was forced to the ground the other defended himself from being assaulted. A mobile telephone and a small amount of cash were taken. Both victims were punched during the incident however neither sustained serious injuries.
The five alleged male offenders are described as all Caucasian, late teens to early twenties and all wearing hooded tops.
Police would urge anyone who may know the identity of the alleged offenders, or may have seen five males of the description acting suspiciously around Akuna Street, Civic, to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report online to www.act.crimestoppers.com.au.
