Witnesses sought to serious traffic incident

ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to a serious traffic incident at Barton this evening where a male pedestrian was struck by a bus.

The incident occurred just before 6pm when a 30-year-old man was struck by a bus at the intersection of Kings Avenue and State Circle. The man was transported to The Canberra Hospital with injuries to his hip and lower limbs. His condition is listed as stable.

Officers from the Collision Investigation and Reconstruction Team attended the crash scene.
