Man arrested after robbery in Belconnen

ACT Policing arrested a 50-year-old man after a robbery in Belconnen yesterday (June 3).
About 6.20pm the alleged offender entered a unit on Chandler Street, Belconnen and assaulted the occupant before taking a small amount of property and leaving.
Police attended the residence about 6.30pm and arrested the alleged offender who was located nearby in possession of the stolen items.
The alleged offender was arrested and conveyed to the regional watch house where he was charged with robbery. He will appear in the ACT Magistrates Court today (June 4).
