Police arrest woman after drugs found

A 29-year-old woman was arrested by ACT Policing yesterday after she was found with an amount of drugs in her possession.
Police from the Territory Investigations Group executed a search warrant on the female’s vehicle in the area of Disney Court in Emu Ridge about 11.00am after she was observed allegedly selling a substance thought to be heroin.
Approximately 10 grams of white powder was located on the female, who was transported to the Regional Watch House and charged with Traffic in a Controlled Drug Other than Cannabis. She was released on bail and will appear before the ACT Magistrates Court at a later date.
