Witnesses sought to aggravated robbery

ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to an aggravated robbery of a service station in Kambah early yesterday (June 14).

About 2.05am, a female offender entered the Caltex service station on O'Halloran Circuit, handed a staff member a note demanding money before threatening him with two knives. She was seen to flee the store with an amount of cash in the direction of Jenke Street where she got into a white or silver coloured utility.

The female offender is described as being Caucasian in appearance, approximately 5'2" (158cm) tall and of medium build. She was wearing tight dark-blue coloured tracksuit pants, a black hooded jacket and thick black gloves and the bottom of her face was covered with white clothed material.

Police attended the scene shortly after and conducted a search of the area however were unable to locate any persons matching the description.

Police are urging anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious persons in the area, around the time of the offence or who know the identity of the offender to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers website on www.act.crimestoppers.com.au.
