Fallen police honoured in Canberra

As custodians of the National Police Memorial, the Australian Federal Police (AFP) will host National Police Remembrance Day services at dawn in Queanbeyan and at dusk in Kings Park on Monday to commemorate police officers who have died while on duty.
Representatives of all Australian police services will be present.
Where and When
Dawn Service: St Raphael’s Church, Lowe Street, Queanbeyan on Monday, 29 September 2008 at 5:30am.
Dusk Service: National Police Memorial, Kings Park, Wendouree Drive, Canberra on Monday 29, September 2008 at 5.15pm.
Dignitaries: The dusk service will be attended by AFP Commissioner Mick Keelty; Her Excellency, the Governor-General Quentin Bryce; the Minister for Home Affairs Bob Debus; ACT Minister for Police and Emergency Services, Simon Corbell; Dignitaries and High Commissioners, members of the Diplomatic community and Members of Parliament and the ACT Legislative Assembly.
