Malunggang Indigenous Officers Network (MION)

Image of MION iconThe Malunggang Indigenous Officers Network, (MION), is a voluntary internal network which fosters and supports the recruitment, retention and career development of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. The network promotes diversity by raising awareness and educating AFP employees on Indigenous issues. Members of MION are also actively involved in community events and career days.

MION was created in 1995 and has grown to a current membership of 45 Officers representing a number of Collage of photos of MION membersNations, Groups and Tribes of Australia and the Torres Strait Islands including:
