Nomination
If you wish to nominate an individual, visit the nomination portal.
The size of the investigation or project and the eventual outcome is not necessarily the major determinant for an award; it is about the actions of the individual. In addition, as AFP methodologies evolve and improve, investigations or projects that were been granted awards previously may now not necessarily reach the required standard.
Nominators need to consider the full life of the event being nominated, and that all relevant parties have been considered. In addition to investigators, members who made a significant contribution from support areas should be considered.
For people outside the AFP who wish to nominate an individual email nominations@afp.gov.au.
