The Royal Solomon Islands Police Force International Law Enforcement Cooperation Medal is awarded to members of international police forces, who provide direct support to the Royal Solomon Islands Police Force, to assist with the development of law enforcement initiatives.

The Royal Solomon Islands Police Force International Law Enforcement Cooperation Medal symbolises the gratitude of the Royal Solomon Islands Police to their neighbouring Pacific colleagues and police forces, who pursuant to the Biketawa Declaration have served with the Regional Assistance Mission to Solomon Islands. It also recognises the sacrifice of these individuals who have been separated from their loved ones and put their safety at risk in service to the country and people of the Solomon Islands.
