As a Senior Executive in the AFP, in either a professional or commissioned police officer capacity, you will be responsible for shaping strategic thinking and inspiring a sense of purpose and direction. You will be expected to direct and lead a business area and, as a member of the senior leadership group, you will contribute to shaping the organisational direction, strategies and policies of the AFP.

National Manager Criminal Asset Confiscation

The AFP is looking to appoint a suitably qualified candidate to the role of National Manager Criminal Asset Confiscation (NMCAC), responsible for driving the strategic direction of the AFP's Criminal Asset Confiscation capability. NMCAC will lead the AFP's efforts to remove the profit from crime and prevent its reinvestment into further criminal enterprise.

Manager People Strategies

The AFP is looking to appoint a suitably qualified candidate to the role of Manager People Strategies (MPS) responsible for the effective delivery of people services across a geographically dispersed organisation of over 6500 employees.

MPS supports the senior executive through shaping and delivering strategic people practices. The role is responsible for providing high level advice and guidance on a range of people management practices to ensure an enterprise wide view is maintained on key areas including strategic workforce planning, industrial relations, recruitment, performance management and HR policies.
