In responding to a rapidly-changing and complex operating environment the AFP will need to mix both the traditional ways of undertaking policing and explore new possibilities.
These possibilities will require innovation, exploration, experimentation and to ‘reimagine how police work will be done’.
The AFP will not always have the answers in addressing complex challenges in the environment, but as an organisation, it must be prepared to ask the difficult questions and explore solutions outside its immediate scope.
