Man charged after Joint Counter Terrorism Team operation

This is a joint media release between the Australian Federal Police and the NSW Police.

The NSW Joint Counter Terrorism Team has charged an 18-year-old man with three counts of collecting document likely to facilitate terrorist acts.

The Guildford man was arrested late yesterday (Monday 25 January) and has been bail refused.

The man was the subject of a Firearm Prohibition Order served on Wednesday January 13 at which time a number of items were seized.

The man will appear in Parramatta Bail Court via video link today, January 26 2016.
