Stop Child Abuse - Trace an Object

Identifying objects that may remove victims of child abuse from harm

Stop Child Abuse - Trace An Object

An initiative to help remove victims of child abuse from harm and bring offenders to justice.

When tracing an object of interest, more eyes will provide more leads.

The Australian Centre to Counter Child Exploitation (ACCCE) encourages members of the community to identify objects extracted from the backgrounds of sexually explicit materials involving children.

The images shared with the public only contain the specific object. All other content is removed.

You can make anonymous reports to help us identify:

  • the origin of an object
  • an offender or a victim.

Introduced by Europol in 2017, ‘Stop Child Abuse – Trace an Object’ has already helped remove many children from harm and led to the arrest of several offenders.
