First foreign interference guilty verdict
The AFP acknowledges the first foreign interference guilty verdict since new Commonwealth laws were introduced in 2018.
The verdict was handed down in the County Court of Victoria today (19 December, 2023).
The AFP thanks its partners in the Counter Foreign Interference Taskforce during this complex investigation.
Foreign interference remains a significant national security priority for the AFP.
